It has been fun to write about the Rosevears of Ruby Hill, Nevada. The more you read and write about your relatives the more you feel close to them. I cannot imagine living as they did in a mining town, miles from civilization, and being able to survive. Yet, one can understand why they left England. After the Industrial Revolution much of England had changed, air was thick with factory smoke, and conditions were hard for poor miners. Thomas must have felt compelled to seek his fortune away from this kind of an existence. Elizabeth came to Ruby Hill with her father, and in a few years she married Thomas. It will be wonderful one day to meet them and discover their life stories from the people themselves - Thomas and Elizabeth Rosevear of Ruby Hill, Nevada.
